SRI KASI VISHWESHWARA TEMPLE, Kalpagooru-502294, near Sangareddy, Medak Dist. A.PThe temple is located 4 Kms from Sangareddy old Bus Station, 60 Km from Hyderabad, 71 kms from Medak near the Manjeera Barrage is Kalabgoor / Kalpagooru village where the Sri Kasi Vishweshwara Temple is situated. This temple dates back to the time of the Kakatiya rulers in 11th century A.D. There are another two temples inside the temple complex namely Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple & Sri Venugopala Swamy temple. That is why this temple is also called as Trikootaalayamu. Sri Kasi Vishweswara temple is located in southside garbhaalaya, Sri Venugopalaswamy temple is located in northside garbhaalaya and it is said to be built this temple on water stream coming from Kasi. If you drop a coin on a particular place located in garbhaalaya of Sri Venugopala Swamy temple, you hear a sound as if you dropped a coin in water. Sri Anantha Padmanaabha Swamy temple is located in west side garbhaalaya. The architecture & construction of the Thousand Pillar Temple in Warangal is exactly similar. There are two other temples under one roof namely Sri Anantapadmanabha Swamy Temple and Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple. These temples are quite beautiful and Pujas & Abhisheks take place regularly till today. Please note that there are no buses to Kalpagoor and you have to hire Auto for both UP and Down from Sangareddy Old Bus Station otherwise it is very difficult to get Auto while returning from temple.
